We honor individual pronouns, identities, preferences, and differences.

If you are unaware of someone’s pronouns, share yours and ask for theirs.

Be conscious of intent vs. impact. No matter intention, you’re responsible for your impact.

GIVE--AND TAKE

If you don't usually take up space, try taking up more space. If you usually take up a lot of space, leave room for others. Try sharing if you normally don’t; try listening if you normally share.

BE GREEN

Our studio is a sacred space. Join us in using fragrance-free and biodegradable products (essential oils are okay!). This benefits chemically-sensitive folks as well as planet Earth. Our studio encourages students to bring reusable water bottles to reduce waste in the studio.

RESPECT ALL ABILITIES

We create physical and emotional space for all abilities. This means keeping the entryway and back hallway clear, placing shoes on the shoe rack, and creating room for those who require additional access throughout the studio .

PRACTICE BODY POSITIVITY.

​

We respect the presence of all body types in the studio whether students, instructors, or staff.

HONOR YOUR BODY.

​

Listen to your body. Stretch, drink water, rest when you need to, practice good hygiene, and foster healthy boundaries while in the studio.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

​

The studio is a sacred space where positivity and warmth are cultivated. Please respect our lovingly created space and your fellow Pilates peers by observing the our studio etiquette:

​

  • Arrive only 5-10 minutes before class (doors will open 15 minutes before class starts).Remove shoes upon entrance, placing them on the shoe rack, and hang up your bags and jackets.

  • Respect a soft-scent environment (essential oils are okay).

  • Inform your instructor about any injuries or physical discomforts.

  • Place mobile devices in airplane mode or on silent and tuck them away with your things.

  • Spray and wipe down your studio mat and/or props after use.

  • Leave the space tidy, the way you found it.
